Step Up is representing a well-established project management group, with a global presence, in hiring an experienced Senior Director of Operations to join the team in Hong Kong.

This unique role will present opportunities to create & enhance the commercial value of the products and services to the customers, and to provide leadership to the internal stakeholders and suppliers’ management. It is a your role to carry on the expansion momentum by continuously driving changes and growing the business diversity, achieved by actively engaging with the customers’ stakeholders and adding the company’s presence in the target industries.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Asia, you will be managing a professional team to ensure service delivery and keep the customers satisfied covering the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. While managing the day-to-day operations, you will lead the development of the regional and global sourcing footprint and strategic partnerships with suppliers in China and the region.

A suitable candidate would require a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role with a successful track record operating sophisticated supply chains on the retail store / QRS / hotel construction.

An entrepreneurial leader with a strong team orientation, who has experience in managing projects and unifying multiple functions into one direction. Your ability to work effectively with people at all levels, and ideally, you have established relationships with potential customers and suppliers. Frequent business travel would be required.

Having a profound understanding of global markets and varying requirements for our products and services, with a special focus on APAC, the Middle East, Africa, India, and, to a limited extent, European markets.
