Your role involves closely collaborating with the CEO to analyse costs and make recommendations for improving cost efficiency and effectiveness. As the leader, you will ensure that the team adheres to established internal work procedures and systems to deliver required parts, equipment, or materials within budgetary and time constraints and carry out the regular examination of equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory and logistics systems and overseeing suppliers to support the base maintenance operation efficiently.

Externally, you will develop and maintain good relationships with vendors, distributors, suppliers, and contractors. You will also represent the company in managing and negotiating with suppliers/contractors to strive for the best terms and prices. Additionally, you will ensure that logistic aspects such as shipment collections, customs clearance, export control, warehousing and distribution are handled professionally and efficiently by service providers.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, with a preference for a master's degree. It is necessary to have a proven track record of experience in supply chain management within the aviation industry, along with an excellent ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve success. You need a deep understanding of procurement, logistics, and material management, strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and good communication skills to provide strategic cost analysis to senior management.
