Onsite Customer Service Manager

We are representing a global aviation client in the search for an Onsite Customer Services Manager based in Tokyo.

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of daily MRO operations—coordinating business activities at the item level, providing onsite consulting in material and customer management, and acting as the primary liaison for all customer interactions. You will build and strengthen regional partnerships, ensure service delivery meets contractual commitments, and work closely with engineering, logistics, and supply chain teams to drive operational excellence.

Beyond daily coordination, you’ll also identify cross- and up-selling opportunities, manage customer feedback through quality systems, and lead performance discussions using KPIs and reporting tools.

The ideal candidate will hold a university degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, with proven experience in technical customer service, sales, or material management within aviation MRO. Fluency in English is essential, while Japanese language skills would be an advantage. Strong intercultural awareness, a proactive mindset, and a valid legal work permit for Japan are required, along with the willingness to travel within Asia and to Europe.
